These stocks plunged over 10% on Wednesday

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance CommunicationsBSE -12.12 % (down 12.93 per cent), NakodaBSE 2.50 %(down 12.50 per cent), FeddersBSE -12.42 % Electric and Engineering (down 10.75 per cent) and Reliance CapitalBSE -10.21 % (down 10.20 per cent) plunged over 10 per cent on NSE on Wednesday.

On the other hand, shares of Responsive IndustriesBSE -9.80 % (down 9.97 per cent), Nagreeka Export (down 9.67 per cent), Landmark Prop (down 9.48 per cent) and Reliance Infra (down 9.03 per cent) cracked up to 10 per cent.

Equity market benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex extended losses for the third consecutive session on Wednesday.

The Nifty50 index closed 69 points down at 10,118, while the BSE Sensex ended Wednesday’s session 181 points down at 32,760.

Bharat Petroleum CorporationBSE 2.40 %, Asian PaintsBSE 1.96 %, Ambuja CementsBSE 1.69 %, Tech MahindraBSE 1.31 %, Eicher MotorsBSE 1.31 % and Hindustan Petroleum CorporationBSE 0.78 % remained the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Bharti Infratel, Sun Pharmaceutical IndustriesBSE -4.01 %, VedantaBSE -4.61 %, UPL, HindalcoBSE -3.45 %, Indiabulls Housing Finance and HCL TechnologiesBSE -2.40 %stood among the losers.

Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 stocks, 13 settled in the green, while 37 in the red on Wednesday.
